Ever look at a picture from one of your travels and have trouble remembering what it’s of? Or enjoy an amazing meal someplace and have completely forgotten the name of the restaurant? Journaling your travels helps with that. The details of your experiences described with words or drawings not only puts those memories on paper, it also helps your brain remember by writing it. It’s a win-win situation.
Let me be candid, I get writer’s block. So I need little prompts to help me start back up again and push me to write more than just a simple – Had fun today at the place we went. – but urge me to ask myself questions so I’ll describe things in a way that someone else could imagine themselves there by reading it.
I’ve compiled a list of before/during/after your trip writing prompts that will encourage you to document the details. You are welcome to download and print it as many times as you would like by clicking on the button below (you may need to right-click and select Download Linked File).
